• Great design does not happen by accident.
• Knowing our client's competitors is almost as important as knowing our client.
• It is not always a good idea to "recreate the wheel" ... Sometimes, it is valid to look out at the field of competitors, make intelligible comparisons, and then keep the 'good' ideas (always expanding on them), and throw away the bad ones.
