Senior React Developer Career Overview
BlueBolt is seeking to hire a Senior React Developer that can quickly grasp highly complex requests and craft creative approaches to digital content and commerce solutions that effectively meet and exceed our clients’ expectations. Experienced with complex implementations and requirements, the right candidate must possess knowledge of React + Front-end CSS/SASS.
Job Description for the Senior React Developer
- Solid analysis, design, documentation, and client-facing skills
- Developing user-facing features using JavaScript, React, Redux, SASS, etc.
- Unit testing using Jest and Enzyme
- Interpreting wireframes and designs, then translating them into quality code
- Working with data from REST APIs GraphQL APIs is a plus
- Collaborating with other development teams to plan implementation and integration with a services layer
- Working with teams in diverse/multiple stakeholder environment
- API Driven design and development
Qualifications
- An Agile mindset with experience working in Agile environment
- A spirit of collaboration and transparent communication
- Able to work well with other developers and coordinate work using the Git framework
- Natural curiosity and ability to rapidly learn new languages, technologies, and frameworks
- 1+ year of experience leveraging a combination of: HTML5, CSS3/SASS, Jest, Enzyme; having experience in either Mocha, MaterialUI is also a plus
- Previous experience on one or two projects leveraging React and Node.js, seeking comfort level not expert level knowledge
- Experience in one or more of React Native, Angular, Vue, Webpack, and/or Gulp is added advantage
- High personal code/development standards (peer testing, unit testing, documentation, etc.)
- Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required
- Experience working with ASP.NET preferred but not required
